We have a lot to celebrate this week! For Christ has risen indeed!
Since this week marks Christ's passion, the teaching will be a little different; yet still communicate Christ's desire to set you free. I am convinced that one of the reasons many remain in despair, battling depression, is because they do not understand the power of God's intimate, sacrificial love. Christ endured a great deal to win our hearts, but many of us don't understand the beauty found in His suffering--the beauty found in His infinite love. As we celebrate this week, I pray you will look upon the One who was pierced for you with fresh eyes and a new perspective.
If you have never opened your heart and received Christ's sacrificial love for you, allow me to give you this opportunity. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, to draw them to Himself so they can know Him and be with Him forever. Even if you were the only person on the face of this earth, He still would have come and offered His beautiful sacrificial love just for you. So join me in prayer, and invite Jesus as Lord and Savior into your heart and life. You will never be the same.
"Jesus, thank you for all you endured for me. I am sorry that I have forsaken your love by sinning against you. Forgive me, save me, and come into my life as Lord. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and Word, transform my life and make me completely yours."
Romans 10:9 says, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Finding salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ is not about praying a prayer--it's about opening your heart to Him, declaring Him to be your Savior and Lord--your God and the only One who can save you from sin and death. Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent" (John 17:3).
If you prayed with me, please let me know. I'd be honored to connect with you.
